I remember watching a parade
music played, confetti raining down;
I think of all the gifts God gives me,
poured out, they are all around...

imagine having a treasure chest,
full of colored bits of love;
so many tiny shapes and colors,
each one sent from God above...

Each morning I open my treasure-chest;
fill my hands with joy untold...
fling my confetti high above my head,
my own parade now does unfold!

I stand and see confetti floating down,
filling the air with colors sublime...
the music playing in my heart
melody of joy that you are mine!

I think each colored bit of paper
is a blessing from above...
and every day a new celebration,
rejoicing in our parade of love...

By days end, my treasure chest empty,
I’ve used up all the confetti there...
but knowing God will replenish,
filled again because of His tender care...

What joy to have a celebration,
my heart knows just what to do...
I'll gather up my confetti blessings
and share each one with you!

My heart overflows with love each day,
the one thing I know is so true...
that of all the blessings God gives me,
the best is that I LOVE YOU!!
