I’m making a resolution
And I’m praying for Your aid
I need to make some changes
And I want to start today.

I dedicate this year, Lord
To the glory of Your name
That from the depths of my soul
I may Your grace proclaim.

I offer up my lips, Lord
That they may bless and praise
And tell of Your salvation
To those You bring my way.

With hands upheld I implore
To serve and worship You
With strength drawn from Your spirit
My purpose now renewed.

My will, my gift to offer,
Too often rebelled, withheld,
I pour out on Your altar
That there it may be felled.

I’m making a resolution
But this I know is true..
The only way I’ll keep it
Is if I’m sealed in You
