It’s called, “All in God’s time.”
He knows every nuance of life—explicitly ordained from the beginning.
If God made adjustments to his calendar, he would need an endless supply of #2 pencils.
And even more erasers to correct our missteps.
Keeping us on the path of right living prevents much agony and sorrow, or so we might think.
How many U-turns does God need for us to reach our final destination?
He takes us in one direction only to intentionally reverse our course, and shift us with the winds to head the opposite way.
All in God’s time.
God is the creator of time itself.
Who breathed life into this world? God.
And created night from day? God.
The apostle Peter wrote: “But do not forget this one thing, dear friends:
With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.”
—2 Peter 3:8 (NIV).
All in God’s time.
God has no Adjustment Bureau when events and situations mess up his timing.
Unlike the short-lived 2012 TV show “Adjustment Bureau,” where someone called the shots, this is not God’s bidding.
They made adjustments of events to delay a person from crossing the street.
They caused a daily commute to be jammed from an earlier accident.
When a person was completely off the path, or too far ahead, and needed rerouting, the Adjustment Bureau intervened.
All in God’s time.
We are ruled by our calendars—paper and technology based.
Life is bound to change; it’s inevitable.
Time, life, and circumstances have a way of switching things up when we least expect it.
We need to trust in God’s timing.
Don’t use a pen to write appointments; use a #2 pencil, and keep the eraser handy.
All in God’s time.
Babies come when God says they are due—not the other way around.
Amy delivered Carson five months early who endured years of various therapies. Today he thrives at 12 years old.
Women who know a C-Section is needed will schedule it about week 39 of the 40 weeks gestation period.
Emily’s procedure was scheduled too late. Her bundle of joy arrived at week 38 while in active labor.
She was grateful that it all worked out okay, saying, “It was all as God planned.”
All in God’s time.
God doesn’t adjust his timeline to accommodate our calendar events.
We wanted to visit Alaska for our 25th wedding anniversary.
But God knew a better offer was coming our way.
We would vacation with our daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter.
Our 25th anniversary was special because of the nice quality family time.
All in God’s time.
God does not toy with our lives; he created us out of love, for love.
There’s no need for an Adjustment Bureau when we have the one true God.
Coincidences, chance meetings, saved from near misses, these are not random.
We may get frustrated when our plans get scattered about, but believe in his timing.
There is a time for everything; it is written so in Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 (NIV).
All in God’s time.
Next time your life plans go berserk, fret not.
God knows the plans he has for us, and it is written in Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV).
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Trust in his timing. Believe in his timing, He is never late, and sometimes a little early.
God needs no calendar because he IS the calendar.
It’s called, “All in God’s time.”
He knows every nuance of life—explicitly ordained from the beginning.
