The epitome of best,
Universal illustration
For man’s careful observation—
His omnipotence expressed,
His diverseness manifest.
Man in God’s likeness crafted
Blessed with great ability
By Satan’s lie attracted,
Through serpent cunning drafted
Into rank futility,
Death and instability.
Commencement of affliction
With the loss of Paradise;
There’s constant war and friction,
God’s truth is lost to fiction;
Man begins to improvise,
Posits fables, myth and lies.
He formulates traditions
With a semblance of the true,
But fallen definitions
Mixed in with superstitions
Send man’s thinking all askew—
God is further lost from view.
Demonic intervention
Introduce idolatries,
A downward mad declension
Devoid of comprehension—
Myopic man’s hypotheses,
Useless, vain philosophies.
You think I am referring
To the heathen of the past?
‘Enlightened’ men’s conferring
With science and so-called learning
Deems God’s truth should be recast—
Unbelief’s obliging fast.
Artificial attestation
Is a snare to keep enchained;
The witness of creation
Plus Scripture’s revelation
Will dislodge lies long ingrained,
Separate the true and feigned.
