Learn how to stay up in the sky?
How do the bulbs beneath the snow
Know when it’s time for them to grow?
How do the waves that come ashore
Keep creeping back to break some more?
How does the dawn start each new day
With rose and gold or blue and gray?
How does the sun climb up so high
While clouds below go sailing by?
How does the bear know winter’s done
And springtime’s season has begun?
How do the bitter winds that blow
Discern directions they should go?
How do the moon and stars so bright
Bring light into the dark of night?
So many things I do not know,
But I am sure of one thing though:
Creator’s ways are always sure,
And Nature’s trust in Him, secure.
This grants to me a certainty
That God is watching over me,
And if I trust Him and obey,
Then He will guide me all the way.
