Shout out for what’s wrong in this world
In faith keep on sharing, with love keep on caring
Never mind harsh words from lips curled
Step up to the plate, squash bigoted hate
Open hard hearts and unlock closed minds
You may feel alone as gatherers moan
Don’t give up till believers you find
Recall sinister Saul, transformed into Paul
His life changed with the Master’s own plan
On a road struck by light, his eyes were shut tight
When they opened people saw a new man
He still pursued, but his agenda renewed
Paul yearned now to know his Lord better
With this about-face, he picked up his pace
Teaching love through actions and letters
Jesus spoke, “Love thy neighbor,” for God we labor
Searching shadows where the lost can be found
Soldiers, march proud, with drums beating loud
Keep fighting for victory’s crown
Back then Paul showed how--like then, still now
Our world’s darkly driven by greed
In faith well founded, stay anchored and grounded
Scripture promises that’s how we succeed
God offered connection through the Son’s resurrection
Do not doubt, but believe He still reigns
With battles defeated, someday we’ll be seated
next to angels in heaven’s domain
