piteous
forsaken
beaten down
robbed
ravished
slandered
abandoned
drenched in tears
weak
useless
emptied
hopeless
still and silent

comes
a
small
voice
of peace
speaking
healing and
forgiveness
fullness of life
being known
and loved
my choice to
love and live
with Him or
smolder
forever
without

fighting
with
Him
fighting
for me
this thing
He asks
of me
too
difficult
they
have
brought
destruction
and I should change?
I
am
wronged
show them
Your wrath I cry
show
me Your
peace
spare me
this trouble

but
this trouble
is for me to
do my will or His...
or ours
I'm loved
enough
to be given
a choice
and a chance
to
trust
in Him
act in His
strength
love
as He
loves
forgive as
I am forgiven

ashen
me
cracked
fractured
broken

choosing
Him.
rising
purified
made whole
blessed
with peace
and joy and love
Glory be to God forever.
