Beautiful descriptions, and heart-tugging. The emotion is palpable.

As a nurse, I've seen those last moments, and as one who have lost a mother, I've experienced them. You brought it so close to home. Even more so, when you used one of my favorite hymns. Ironically, I shared one stanza with a friend whose Mom passed away this past week. Thanks for making it real.

Very touching. The descriptions are beautiful and for anyone who has sat by a bedside and encouraged another to "go home", this is very real. Wonderful writing.

Heartbreaking. What lovely lyrics - though I felt as if they might have been more effective delivered in snippets. The centered block of text messed with my eyes for a moment. Very real and raw.

What a well written piece. You ask some very important questions. Before my aunt died, she had a dream about singing certain hymns with the angels.

I have heard that family members do need to be told that its okay to die. I had tears in my eyes. I will pray for you and your family.
