What at great lesson here and so well told. We need reminders like this. Good job.
This poem would be a great devotional on tithing our time, gifts & money. I enjoyed this very much!

Your poem was well written and easy on the eyes. It had a good message as well. It reminds me of that show where this rich guy comes in and teaches women (I've seen no men, yet) who are compulsive shoppers, trying to feed a hole they don't know they have with something they think they need. It's a powerful pull. Thanks for making us feel that draw...and the alternative to it. We've got something, not to buy, but to sell. Amen!
A pleasing poem with a needed message. I was convicted!
Loved this poem and the pov. Well done.

Clever as usual, Linda! The bit that appealed most to me was the weary cashier who only saw the clock. I don't know why, but it just made the poem very REAL and relatable.

Wonderfully real and compelling - and convicting! Love all the details.
