My masters let me walk their puppy today. I love the puppy, with all of her little squeals and awkward toddling around on her two legs. I've never understood how the two-leggers can walk around like that, not when four legs work so much better, even as a puppy.

The puppy is a really easy walk. I get to guide her around, as I check the messages in the neighborhood and take care of my...ahem personal business. A lazy walk, just what I love doing. And that’s something I never get to do with my masters. Everything with them is run on a schedule. (Personally, I think they are cats in disguise.)

Anyways, I’m getting off topic now; today's walk is going to be really special. The water from the sky has stopped falling. And it's made everything smell all fresh and clean again. If I'm carefully, I might even be able to smell something fun, like a rabbit. But, I won't take the puppy on the chase for that. No, she likes the days after the water falls from the sky, as well. Except, her game is much more fun.

She loves walking through the tiny lakes. Splashing and squealing like she doesn't have a care in the world. Never mind the masters telling her, "no no," all she wants to do is jump, jump, jump! Splashing the water everywhere.

What else am I supposed to do? It's her game, so I need to play it with her. It'll be worth the outside this afternoon. I have a nice sun patch I can sleep in. I just hope the masters don't decide that I need that dreaded B-A-T-H thing.
