This is interesting. I grew up across from a dairy farm and remember having twins. It was my job to name them. I thought of veal and cutlet (I guess I was a strange 10yo). Anyhow, I digress. I loved the irony in this story. The calf accepted will likely become slaughtered, yet the rejected calf will live on and father many others. I wonder what made the cow keep the heifer. I also wonder how often my choices my not be the best. It's quite cool how God still has a very important purpose for both calves. They are different, yet both necessary. You made me think, and maybe I over thought it a bit, but I do know God always has a plan.
I loved this story and am blessed by the insights given. Yes, how strange that the "abandoned" calf is the saved one. Blessings.

Excellent read, and I loved the message in the "abandoned" calf being the saved one. It held significance on a theological perspective when applied as a parable.

Well done!

Blessings~
