A truly somber read that was uplifiting as well. The ending gave way to hope and rejoicing at his going home.

The little bit of time this family had together could have been morbid and sad. You reminded us, that even though it does involved pain and sorrow, this family chose in those moments to spend it with the Lord in prayer and song. Beautiful.

Gave me with chills all over as I read your article! I would love to know if it's nonfiction. Even if not there's a love for God that's in all that happened in this story that you have to love Him deeply to write with such conviction! Great job!

This would have been good for this weeks challenge too because the mother finally surrendered all when she told her son it's ok to go. WOW
