It was so long ago. Maybe he has forgotten or changed His mind. Hear His promise after the world was destroyed by flood, during the worst time in human history.
“ I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth. Neither will I again smite any more every living thing as I have done. While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, and summer and winter and day and night shall not cease.” Genesis 8: 21,22.
The idea of global warming comes from a base that does not believe in or understand that God is in control over His creation and always keeps His promise.
We may think that wicked man can destroy his environment because of his ability to create and make things better. (He was created to do such) True faith motivates man beyond the status quo to improve his world.
Where did this idea of Global warming come from? Some advocates quote scripture from the judgments mentioned in Revelation. People who never read or understand the intended meaning of the scriptures seek isolated verses to give their theories credibility.
When did carbon dioxide become a poisonous Gas? God created man to breathe in oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide. Didn’t He know that eventually it would destroy the ozone layers protecting the earth from the sun’s rays?
I had this idea on how to solve the global warming crises: How serious are these followers of this truth? Would they be willing to die for this, as the followers of Christ might have to do, for the truth they proclaim? Why not have all the advocates of Global warming gather together and prove their faith by refusing to exhale for ten minutes. That would only take ten minutes but solve the problem immediately.
Some may reason that when God made that promise things were not as bad as they are now, but consider how bad it was then:
“And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continuously “ Genesis 6:5
Just consider these words describing the extent of man’s wickedness then. There is nothing today that compares to that period of time
As Christians we are contenders for the truth. The truth is: that God has spoken and still speaks to and through His servants. Henry
