In the Nightlight Golden Time

Let me dream with you, little one,
and we shall sail on silvery seas of moonlight,
and roam among the stars,
you and I, little one.

Let me sing with you, little one,
and we shall charm the angels all to smile,
and hear God Almighty hum along,
you and I, little one.

Let me read with you, little one,
and we shall spin our memories to life,
and weave new worlds in silly words,
you and I, little one.

Let me dance with you, little one,
and we shall whirl and twirl like butterflies,
and spin like pinwheels in the wind,
you and I, little one.

Let me rock with you, little one,
and we shall go back and forth ten thousand times,
and get lost in peace, this time each night,
you and I, little one.

Let me pray with you, little one,
and we shall share the whispers of our souls,
and intertwine our hearts midst this nightlight gold,
you and I, little one,
just you and I.
