Topic: Before and After (05/14/09)
Cozy is how I would have to describe life so far. I am always warm. Moving around in this liquid is like floating in air. Whenever I need to feel secure or when I feel lonely I move up here to my favorite spot, right under Momma’s rib.

Oh this is wonderful. Still growing, still developing, just last week my fingernails formed. I don’t think Mommy feels me when I kick yet but I can tell I am getting stronger; so it won’t be long.

What’s that? Something is in here! Gotta go to Mommy’s rib.

Ouch!

Mommy help!

Mommy it hurts, help me.

Mommy it’s pulling me!

Mommy why?

The tenderness of His hand on my cheek is as soft as a million feathers and the warmth of His touch is greater than a million romances.

“Lord, your face is so loving. Why did you wipe away my tears when you have tears of your own?”

The LORD’s eyes are filled with holy water, His lips are quivering. God Almighty is having trouble speaking. He is weeping.

It took me a while to catch what this was about. I'd never thought of God's reaction to the termination of a little life in this way before. Very thought provoking. You could even expand it a little.

Clever in its brevity. BUT I needed someone else's comment to understand what was going on. I was thinking twins or possibly a subsequent implantation a month later. So at one level maybe a little TOO clever...
