“Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field: Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.” - Matthew 13:31-32 (KJV)

The Spirit dropped a tiny seed
Into the soil He had prepared;
He sowed a thought within your heart
When all His toil had made you soft…

Then through the years He watered you,
And watched you grow with tender care;
You bloomed with love when time was ripe,
His grace you show to all the world…

When sin sprang up to strangle you,
He gently weeded you with truth;
His hands of mercy curing you
To meet your needs by breaking chains…

A tiny seed became a tree,
The treasured prize in all the garden…
He took the smallest seed of all
And made you a bride to share His life!

The tree is made of many souls,
A nation grown from just a seed—
We have been built into a kingdom,
We’re joined as one, because of love…
