Incident: Body Theft
Reporting Officer: Constable Surinder Awl Date of Report: 36 B.C.
At about 1040 hours on 5th April 36 B.C., I met with Joanna at 61 South Jerusalem Drive regarding a body theft. Joanna said that following the crucifixion three days ago, she and several others had been visiting the tomb of one, Jesus of Galilee. They had gone there every day since the crucifixion. Yet on this day, the third day, they found the stone rolled away and the body missing. Upon arriving, she and her friends were asked by two men of angelic appearance who they were looking for. When she and her friends told them, they were asked why they were looking. Hadn’t they been told the body would rise from the dead on the third day? Side Note: This is the first time I’d ever heard this line used by grave robbers.
Joanna and I went to the tomb together. Just as she said, it was empty with the stone rolled away. I explained that the small tremor earlier that day was probably responsible for this and that the two men she saw were most likely the culprits who robbed the grave.
Joanna couldn’t describe the men other than to say that they wore clothes that were as white as snow and that they gleamed like lightening. Other than that, there were no distinguishing marks or things to note unless you consider that they she said they did look “angelic.”
I conducted a survey of the crime scene but found no items of evidence other than a missing body and a massive stone rolled away.
I obtained a sworn statement from Joanna and provided her with the case number and an information leaflet on how to proceed.
I entered the information she gave me into the files as a stolen body. I also searched the area but was unable to find the body. To this day, I am not sure what happened.
Appended not long after report was made.
On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them.
In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: ‘The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’” Then they remembered his words.
When they came back from the tomb, they told all these things to the Eleven and to all the others. It was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and the others with them who told this to the apostles. But they did not believe the women, because their words seemed to them like nonsense.

writing these kinds of report
use. It is interesting to reflect that even if we were to discover such a document it would be able to add practically nothing to how well attested the resurrection already is! Thanks for this.
Great job my friend.
