TITLE: GREAT TO ME! | Previous Challenge Entry

I was led by the SPIRIT to the Scripture verses in,
Luke 23:42-43,
that says,
“Then he said to JESUS,
“LORD, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.”
“And JESUS said to him,
"Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.””
And so I started to seriously consider and contemplate just what this priceless poetry means to my ministry and my
precious posterity!
Particularly, predominantly and precisely the words that caught my curious concern and instinctive intellectual interest were,
“Remember me!”
And having personal exegetical experience in seriously studying GOD’S Word I found out that the Greek word,
‘Remember’ is,
ÌíÜïìáé,
pronounced, ‘m•nah•om•ahee.’
And carries with it the idea of,
‘Fixture in the Mind,’
to ‘Grasp Mentally,’
to ‘Be Mindful,’
to ‘Be had in Remembrance,’
to ‘Come in Remembrance,’
to ‘Remind,’
to ‘Be Recalled,’
or to ‘Return to One’s Right Mind!’
‘Remember,’
also means to,
‘Remind One’s Self of,’
to ‘Be Recalled to Mind,’
to ‘Be Remembered,’
to ‘Be had in Remembrance’
or to ‘Be Mindful to Remember a Thing!’
So according to the Text, the thief on the cross next to CHRIST was asking Him all of these things when he said,
“JESUS, LORD, remember me…”
But what the tattered and terrified thief was
confidently and courageously saying to JESUS really was…
JESUS, LORD, I recognize that You are the CHRIST!
The Anointed Holy One!
And the Messiah of GOD!
And I acknowledge that You really have the Dynamic power that You have!
And that You alone hold the Divine position that You have in this world that You have carefully created!
Fasten on to me and hold on to me in Your mind,
and retain the information in Your mind of who I am!
Don’t forget me LORD!
Allow me to be in your thoughts and memories and commit me to Yourself!
Or in other words…
LORD JESUS please give me back my stolen sanity!
Don’t let me be fatally forgotten!
Take me into accurate account!
Consider and keep me with You!
And don’t let me die alone!
In my sins and in vain!
Now in careful consideration and cautious contemplation of the word,
‘Remember…’
A simple look at any dictionary shows that the prefix,
‘Re’
means,
to,
‘Do Again!’
And the word,
‘Member’
means,
‘A Distinct Part of a Whole!
Especially a part or an organ of a human or animal body,
as a limb such as an arm or a leg or a part of one that belongs to a group or an organization!’
So then the word,
‘Remember’
really means to,
‘To Do Again To The Member!’
In other words…
What the thief-transgressor on the cross was telling,
JESUS CHRIST His SAVIOR was…
LORD…
The sins, sufferings, setbacks, sicknesses, shames, strife’s, struggles, skirmishes, snags, snares and sorrows of my life,
have separated me from my
‘MEMBERS!’
I am,
‘DISMEMBERED!’
Oh LORD…
Life and all of its sufferings and sorrows have broken me into many pieces!
So please put me back together again!
“RE-MEMBER-ME…”
When You come into your Kingdom…
And that’s precisely what the Paradise promise that the
LORD JESUS CHRIST
passionately and purposely presented,
did for that thief!
And also for me!
And that's why GOD is so GREAT to me!
