it breathes within.
And it whispers,
of forgiven sin.
I fell His breathing,
it makes me moan.
And in my delight,
I joyfully groan.
For I know I need,
His breath to live.
And I must inhale,
so He can forgive.
I feel the movement,
the wings of His love.
And He descends on me,
like a pure white dove.
I feel His hope,
a breath of fresh air.
And He does answer,
my hearts every prayer.
For I am a sinner,
I breathe in my pride.
And from His breath,
I cannot run or hide.
I feel His wonder,
I breathe in His grace,
And it radiates,
from my forgiven face.
I feel His goodness,
I breathe in holiness.
And soon I am filled,
with His loveliness.
I feel His breath,
forever I believe in Him.
And I am no longer,
a fruitless dying limb.
For He gave me life,
in one single breath.
And I'll breathe Him in,
until my earthy death.
