So I want you loosely around me
Just so I can be able to hop around
And beat the rest at the races.
Yesterday was dress down Friday
The worn jeans and branded T-shirt
Served well to get me started
For the weekend ahead.
It was a relief for me
After four days
Wrapped up like a Birthday Gift
In usual office wear.
Nothing beats the feel of freedom
That comes with having you fit in
For different functions
That makes my lifestyle
Others love to have you in limited doses
Just enough to hide their worth
From the ravages of marauding eyes
Of owners too embarrassed to talk.
Yet others seem to love
Endless yarns of you
Covered from head to toe
Perhaps to keep the elements in check
Tomorrow is Sunday
I will need the best of you
No missing buttons can afford
For the day set aside with my maker.
