There are a few prerequisites we must conform to, such as believing that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that he died on the cross for our sins and arose on the third day after. We must also repent of our sins to God the Father and God the Son (Jesus) to be included in the inheritance He has promised. It is also important to reach out to lost souls and tell them about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and how they can be saved.
If the people that have been saved make a mistake and feel it is sinful, they can still pray to Christ and ask for forgiveness. Jesus does not want to see anyone turn to sin and be doomed to spend life after death in Hades. His most fervent prayer is that all shall be saved, and considering the Crucifiction, you are or will be saved by His precious blood.
When you are saved and have repented of your sins, it is important that you try to live your life as Jesus lives His life or as He would have you live; remember ‘to be more like Jesus’ in all you do and say.
Think about how beautiful Heaven will be and you will see angels and cherubim praising God around the great white throne, where Jesus sits at His right hand.
Eternity is a beautiful and holy place, where you will see the loved ones that have left the earth before you. What a day that will be when you arrive and see them and also when you see Jesus face-to-face. That’s what Heaven is like – that is eternity.
