You reek like death
That ol’ stink be comin’ down yo’ street
Homey, clean yo act up
You dirty with the tang
He got perfume that’ll knock you off’n yo’ feet
Come on lady
Trade that urn in
Dip yo’ rags into His overflowing well
Take a whiff
A sniff of this yo
And blow outcha nose that odor of hell
This hint be free
The sweet scent of Him
Take a whiff of His life giving breath
A pleasing aroma
The fine smell of Christ
Wash off now that rank stench of death
When Christ offered His life giving blood on the cross, He did it for all. There are none too poor, too dirty, or too wasted for Him. He didn’t come to die for the people who had their lives together, but for the people. Many of us feel that we are not good enough. There’s none that are. He loves us all though. Through Him, The Father can smell on us, a pleasing aroma. (2 Corinthians 2:15-17)
