For the ones who win always lose their souls---
A cruel sport!! Beggars can’t be choosers;
Our opponent has overall control.
If you think you play on a level field,
I sincerely urge that you think again;
The opposing side will lie, kill or steal;
Without powerful help you’ll never win.
Did someone say, you’ll emerge a winner?
Everyone who plays in this game must die;
The motif on your shirt says ‘SINNER’;
It’s an offside trap; you’ve been sold a lie.
How can such losers emerge as victors?
Is there any way we can overcome?
Through Adam’s fall, the devil tricked us—
We are the captives of “the wicked one.”
Thank God, through Christ we are liberated;
At the cross the Victim overcame---
Through our faith in Christ we’re regenerated;
We’re no longer players in Satan’s game.
The game is up!! In Christ we are winners!
Proclaim His victory both far and wide;
Though the motif on our shirt says ‘SINNERS’---
We’ll forever stand on the Victor’s side!
