Your paraphrase brought the well-known Psalm to life again. I had a bit of hard time finding a "rhythm" to the stanzas.

This might make an interesting gospel "rap" to be read aloud to a group, since it is such a personal piece, and worth sharing as a testimony.
A person feels closer to God when we apply bible scripture to ourselves. Good work doing this. The verses can live within you now.

Good application.

For my ease of reading, I like the lines of verse to all be about the same although this does not mean "they have to be the same".
A lovely retelling . . .
