From the veritable marvel of vegetation, to the wonders of the insect world in constructing miracles of architecture, to the birds phenomena of flight, this world is jam-packed with capability. Even so, none of raw nature can compete with the pinnacle of God’s creation. Man.
All of nature has been given at least one talent, but man a profusion of competence. An overabundant plethora of proficiency in any endeavor he sets his energies to. When the human race works together, God has said that “nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.”
By far, the greatest of these talents is language. Man has learned to manipulate the raw elements contained in earth and is able to harness the energy of light emitted from the sun, surpassing the achievements of vegetation. We can erect massive multifarious structures, as well as manufacture microscopic components, rivaling the insect. We’ve soared faster than sound, we have flown to the moon and returned. And in so doing, have even exceeded the birds in flight. However, language belongs to God and man alone. I am not just speaking of conversing with sounds, nature does that to a certain extent. I desire to declare the magnificence of the written word. Truly, communication produced through the pen is in reality, a most amazing accomplishment.
Most amazing, and yet so commonplace. For each and every human being can participate. What is so very wonderful about the art of writing is the reality that it can be achieved by anyone who would seriously endeavor to put their pen to paper. A writers' craft is a skill that can be practiced at least in modest degree, by the uneducated and intellectually impaired. Why I am sure that with the aid of a good dictionary and thesaurus even a dim witted buffoon could conjure up an intelligent sounding paragraph or two.
Oops! I guess I’m more than sure, I think I just proved it.

A small suggestion- you might want to take out some of your bigger words. Even though I enjoyed them immensely, if you were ever to submit this as a devotion somewhere you might want to use words that are at an 8th grade reading level or so.
I believe this could make a wonderful devotion or a nice blurb in a Church newsletter. You did a great job. I love words and learning too and yours were inspiring.
What if you'd moved up that last sentence to somewhere more middle-ish, and then went on with the devotional in a more relaxed voice?
