It began years ago when my friend and I were having morning tea together.
Debbie was telling me how she was unable to have a baby since the birth of their first son ten years earlier, and when she did fall pregnant she would miscarry.
Her sadness gripped me with compassion, so I began to show her how she could speak to the parts of her body to form and hold a baby full term.
Showing her the way and speaking to my own body with authority, suddenly, I felt the power of God all over ME which stopped me in my tracks, as I realized that I had just spoken into existence my own baby to be born into this world. A couple of weeks later (with the help of my husband of course) sure enough I was pregnant and nine months later our beautiful daughter Rachel came into the world. When Debbie heard the news she laughed and laughed saying that God had such a great sense of humor.
Debbie did eventually fall pregnant later on and had a beautiful baby boy.
A few years down the track and I was working with a young woman who couldn’t seem to carry her babies to full term and miscarried a number of times. So, I shared my experience with her and asked if I could lay hands on her and pray over her body. Naturally she said yes, and as she was not a Christian I imagine that she thought I was a bit of a nut case. But the compassion of God came upon me as I felt her sadness and as the spirit moved I knew a healing had taken place. A few weeks later, sure enough she was pregnant and carried the baby through to full term. Nicole now has three children and what a joy to her and her Husband.
Years later I was at a conference talking with a small group of women on the tea break and one of the women was saying how she couldn’t have a baby and was about to start infertility treatment. So once again I shared about my Great God and how I came to have Rachel and that I had prayed for Nicole to carry her babies to full term. None of these women were Christians and unbeknown to me a completely different woman who was listening to my story asked if I could pray for her as she was seeking to have a second child and had already waited nine years. Sadness came over me and compassion rose as I prayed yet again the same way I always did. Not long after another baby came into the world.
Virginia was very excited and so at the next conference while we were having lunch with around 15 women, she began to tell everyone how I had prayed for her and she had been able to have a baby. Then in front of all these women who once again were not Christians, she asked if I could please pray for her friend who was having infertility treatment and it wasn’t working. A number of weeks later I mentioned to her friend on the phone, that if she would like I could pray for her. But that I would need to lay hands on her to make the prayer work. As she lived two hours away from me, I prayed for the perfect time and a few months later my chance came at another business conference. It was the lunch break and people were everywhere, but a window of opportunity came and suddenly the entire room was emptied except for Georgette and me. I seized the moment quickly praying for her, and within seconds of completing it the room filled again.
She was healed that day and now has a baby boy.
This is not the end of my story, as I know that there are many women in this world that have that same sadness.
Jesus wants to wipe away their tears and bring one of the greatest joys imaginable, the joy of a new life.
