You were there at the beginning,
and You'll see me through to the end--
No matter what happens I just trust You Lord:
I have blessed assurance in Your word!
I was injured in an accident and I could hardly walk:
My back was hurt in two places and the pain was sharp--
But I held on with confidence that Jesus would make me whole,
And every morning I was one step closer to the goal!
Jesus, my Confidant, my Father, my God and my best Friend:
You were there at the beginning,
and You'll see me through to the end--
No matter what happens I just trust You Lord:
I have blessed assurance in Your word!
Then one day all the pain came rushing back and I almost passed out--
I had a "set back"--but by faith I was determined not to give up:
Working and walking through the pain, my Jesus came through again!
Jesus healed my back and it feels better than it ever did!
Jesus, my Confidant, my Father, my God and my best Friend:
You were there at the beginning,
and You'll see me through to the end--
No matter what happens I just trust You Lord:
I have blessed assurance in Your word!
In the end when I stand in Your presence on that wonderful day with You,
I will say "Thank You Jesus" for helping me every day to see it through!
