Astronaut Journal Entry: “Tomorrow’s the day. I’ve trained years for this day. I know the equipment, procedures, everything. I can hardly believe the actual day is almost here. One more cot and a hot, and I’m going to the Space Station, yes, for real! Next journal entry will be to tell what Earth looks like from the heavens. Good night, sweet dreams to me.”
Astronaut Penny drifts away to dreamland, although not-so-sweet-land. “I’ve worked these panels hundreds, maybe thousands, of times in Lab; why do they look so foreign to me now? This is for real and everyone’s depending on me. Oh, no! Too many lights flashing, too many wires, buttons, switches. I can hardly move. I can’t breathe. My arm’s tangled in a cord! Help!”
Recorded live telecasts inside real space craft or at the space station give images to cause nightmares. It looks overwhelming, extremely complicated, complex; quite perplexing for most civilians. One of man’s great achievements in the science frontier has been reaching the moon; but put into context of the whole universe, that is, “One small step for man...” as stated by Astronaut Neil Armstrong. As much as we have accomplished, we really are quite limited.
But real space travel will be at the Hand of the Creator of the Universe, Who holds all power. No space suit, space craft or complicated paraphernalia needed. Truly an inspiration, some would say a total science fiction fantasy; but in reality, absolute Truth.
Just imagine: “And Enoch walked with God: and he [was] not; for God took him,” as recorded in Gen. 5:24; or, “And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing,” Acts 8:39. Then there is, “And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight,” (Jesus’ ascension) Acts 1:9.
Astronaut Penny awakens: “Man, what a bad, bad dream. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we were able to just go; I mean, up into space, beyond the space station; beyond the moon, without all the gizmos of space craft!” You, or should it be said, we, can. Make your reservation with the Creator of the Universe, TODAY!
Finally, “Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they [also] which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.” Rev. 1:7-8
