Was this the end? NO! Emphatically NO! Jesus Christ always exists in His per-incarnate state with the Father throughout eternity past.
Jesus Christ left His divinity in heaven when He laid down His crown, scepter, and rob to be born into humanity. He conceived by the Spirit and filled with the Spirit from birth. Jesus Christ as the second Adam, He had to be human in order to be able to be tempted and yet He passed every temptation known to humanity.
Jesus Christ’s as the second Adam, His mind never corrupted by sin. He never knew what it was to be self-centered and full of anger. He saw the Father though the Spirit in all of His form, love.
Jesus Christ’s primary mission was to demonstrate the Father’s love to humanity (Ephesians 3:19). From His childhood to His death on the cross, all Jesus Christ did and taught was to teach humanity about the Father’s love. He taught humanity to have a mature love to be able to love those who heat you.
Jesus Christ’s teaching wrapped up in the Sermon on the Mount. He is teaching His followers what the Father expects from them. When you distill the Sermon on the Mount down to its most common denominator, it is love.
Jesus Christ final demonstration of love was from the Garden of Gethsemane where He prayed three times for the Father to take the cross from in front of Him. In His flesh, He did not want to go to the cross. Yet, each time He prayed for the Father’s will to be done.
The Father saw the humbleness of Jesus Christ giving way to His will and sent His angles to comfort Him. The angels and Spirit where able to fill Him with all the strength to endure all that He faced with joy. Wow!
Jesus Christ endured being spit on, called all kind of names, insults, and being mocked, punched in the face, having His beard pulled out, having a crown of thorns beat into His head. To top it all off wiped almost to the point of death with a cat-of-nine-tail. All to demonstrate the Father’s love.
Jesus Christ nailed to the cross to die still demonstrating the Father’s love. Jesus Christ forgave all those who wronged Him all the way including those who put Him to death. What love!
Jesus Christ exhaled His last. Was this the end? No! Praise the Father. Jesus Christ’s last breath was an exclamation mark in His life.
Jesus Christ rose from the dead on the third day. He ascended into heaven and now seated on the right hand of the Father. Jesus Christ will always be at the Father’s right hand for the rest of the future.
