I love practicing the Presence of the Lord. Day by day He and I walk together and share our lives together. I may pray or take pictures but just knowing He and I are together, well, that makes my life worth living.
The word exotic may not be a word someone has actually associated with God’s Presence and yet it fitting. One of Merriam-Webster’s definitions for exotic is very different or unusual. I have found God’s presence to be very different or unusual. How you ask? Let me share…
Since I was hyperactive as a child and that extended into some of my adult years, I have always had a challenging time staying still or focused. Yet I was taught how to practice God’s Presence. My first experience of Practicing His Presence came while I was in Virginia Beach, VA.
I put a chair in the center of my bedroom, sat in it and said in a matter of fact way to God, “Ok God, I’m practicing Your Presence.” Within 3-5 minutes I heard God’s voice and He said, “Wanda, I have neat things in store for your life.” I replied, “Ok, Thank You.” And got up, put my chair away and went on with my life.
Over the years God has told me that time and time again. I have found there is no place like His Presence. It is very different or unusual. I have found laughter, tears, heart to heart talks, forgiveness, acceptance and the like, all in His Presence. I have found who I am and in turn have been able to role model for others so they too can find their place in His Presence. I have found that over the years I can still myself longer and it is marvelous.
Yes, God’s Presence is Exotic!

I would have liked a little more how you continued to practice his pretense through your life. Others may not know how it is done.
God bless~
The main red ink I would offer is don't speak to the reader directly. Instead of telling that you're going to share, just go ahead and do it. You also don't need to include the definition of the topic word. Instead just jump right in about your special and distinct relationship with God.
I'd love to read even more about times when God helped you through some tough times. I like how you speak directly to him. It shows your love for Jesus and shows the reader that it is possible to have a special relationship with God. Great job.
