She was no more than 12 months old with such a big smile showing only her two bottom teeth, eager to eat; with such and appetite and anticipation. Flinging her arms in the air breathing heavy (in and out) of her tiny little nostrils and crinkling her precious little button nose. Maxine was just a bundle of joy and full of excitement.

Sitting on her high chair as she waited kicking with such excitement her little feet swinging back-and-forth, mommy with her spoon in the air as if it were a chaganooga choo- choo train. “Chook- chook- chook- chook- choo– choo! “Chook- chook- chook- chook- choo - choo! “Open up wide honey for the chaganooga choo- choo… said mommy?”

As mommy scoops for another spoon of squashed carrots, little 12 month old Maxine screamed with enthusiasm. As the spoons of squashed carrots kept coming little Maxine’s screams got louder with enthusiasm, and full of excitement following a smile, her heavy breathing (in and out) of her tiny little nostrils showing only her two bottom teeth and her little mouth stained orange from the (Gerber) baby jar of squashed carrots.

As Maxine finishes up her baby jar of squashed carrots satisfied with excitement her arms swinging from left to right, little Maxine manages to reach out and grab hold of the jar. With a quick reaction mother grabbing a strong hold of the baby jar quickly was able to prevent the jar from falling to the floor. Somehow little Maxine was able to get the rest of what was in the jar all over the table, the tray and in her hair.

“Come on little one it’s bath time for you”. With Maxine on a full stomach mother wiped her little hands removing her from the high chair as she cleaned the rest of the baby food from table, and the tray of Maxine’s pink Minnie mouse high chair.

Off she went running straight to her little air filled (jolly jumper) Minnie mouse’s Boutique smiling, carefree as to the squashed carrots that were all over her orange stained hair.

As Maxine’s mommy ran her a warm bath and with all her little favorite characters Mickey, Minnie, Daffy, Donald duck, Goofy, Pluto, a pink pale and a shovel, Maxine was ready for her bath.

“Come on sweetie, its bath time for you. As she dips little Maxine feet first in the water, Maxine grasps for a breath as she gets herself use to the water, shivers then smiles. Quickly she adapts and is thrilled by all the characters floating all around the tub.

Almost instantly the pink bucket caught Maxine’s attention, as she carefully crawls in the water towards the bucket a splash of water managed to get little Maxine’s mommy in the face “ oh! Mommy screamed as she shakes her head and smiles at Maxine “silly girl” say’s mommy.

Maxine happy and excited looks up at mommy giggling having so much fun, full of joy unaware that a long orange streak is dripping down her little face from the squashed carrots that came out as the water hit her beautiful silky blond hair.

Well drying Maxine’s hair with a towel she would always sing a little tune of her own “uuuhhhhhhhhh”, mommy thought it was the cutest little tune. (PSALM 33:3) NIV Sing to him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy.

As mommy sprinkled on the baby powder put on her diaper, slipped her into her favorite pink Minnie mouse pajamas, Maxine took a deep sigh rubbed her little eye’s smiled, rolled over and before you knew she was fast asleep.
