There are many things we are, and there are many things we are not. None of us is entirely bad, nor are any of us entirely good. This fact does not excuse us; nor does it accuse us. It is however, a fact we that cannot deny. If we did not know this fact there would

Be no hope of becoming any different than we are presently. That would be a hopeless existence. For while we may applaud the good things that we are or do, we all know that there is much room for improvement. If it was not so much trouble, or if we had the opportunity we'd improve ourselves. We'd turn on and tune in. Tuned: able to hear and to see the facts,

But we are not keenly tuned. That is the problem. We don't pick up on the problems in our lives, nor how we may correct them until we are so well into age that it makes little difference to think upon the callousness and mistakes of the past. So we tell ourselves, forgetting that the here and now is not all there is to be considered, for we will live in another realm of reality forever, eternally.
Eternally:
Now, in youth and in age, we presently live in a component of eternity, and we have the Eternal Component to consider; "Where will I live when life here is over?" The problem is of course that I am not good enough to live in Heaven, and I am not bad enough for living in Hell." That is what we tell ourselves. God, however, does not agree with us and Jesus gave us warnings.
NOTE TO ALL: GET ETERNALLY TUNED!
Jesus said, "You must be born of the Holy Spirit, you must be born again." In this current part of our eternal existence, which we know as NOW, we must join ourselves to Jesus, because it is His righteousness and His holiness that He confers upon us when we ask Him to forgive us of the wrong, called sin, in our lives and to come live in our hearts forever.
If we fail to make this choice, then we are "Not Otherwise Tuned Eternally" for residence in the glories of Heaven and peace of Love that never ever ends.
