Topic: Current Affairs (06/08/12)
When I saw this weeks challenge "Current Affairs"
I prayed about it and asked God to help me with this topic.
I thought "Wow" now thats a challenge! With everything that
is going on in the world today one could pick several things to
elaborate on such as politics, economics, housing, foreign affairs, war
and the way our government is turning into a socialistic nation and of
course the social media.That's when it came to me (past and present affairs)
of the Lord Almighty. The past... God called out from the burning bush, Moses! Moses! and said here am I. The present... I'm not saying God could not or would not do this today I'm saying what if He text Moses.

God; Moses I need you to do something for me (send)
Moses; Here am I Lord (reply)
God; I need you to tell the people they are free from bondages that I sent the Christ Jesus to free them (send)
Moses; Oh Lord you know I don't speak very well and the people won't believe me (reply)
God; Moses go to the coat closet get your walking stick and put it on the front lawn (send)
Moses; Okay Lord it's done (reply)
God; I know you didn't have to text me on that one (send)
Moses; Sorry Lord, now what do I do? (reply)
God; Your forgiven, now look at the walking stick I turned it into a snake (send)
Moses; That's awesome Lord but what do I do with it "oh!" wait it just turned back into my walking stick (reply)
God; Moses! Moses! be patient and stay focused please. (send)
Moses; Yes Lord (reply)
God; Now get your stick and go west to Las Vegas Nevada (send)
Mose; Lord are you serious? Really? Las Vegas that is a bad place (reply)
God; Serious! Go look outside! (send)
Moses; Okay you are serious? My lawn is covered with frogs and my water fountain is filled with blood (reply)
God; Never under estimate my intentions again Moses! (send)
Moses; Never again Lord (reply)
God; I want you to take as many people as you can fit in the bus including your brother Aaron (send)
Moses; Bus?
God; Go to the garage! (send)
Moses; Nice bus Lord I should be able to fill it with no problem at all (reply)
God; Good Moses, now one more thing before you leave and we've been through this already! (send)
Moses; What is it Lord? (reply)
God; No Molten Calf! keep an eye on your brother I will have no other Gods before me understand! (send)
Moses; Yes we will worship you alone Lord and I will watch Aaron (reply)
God; Don't get off on a rabbit trail I don't want this to be another forty year trip (send)
Moses; Lord I figure it should take about seven days total (reply)
God; I've heard that before you need to keep the people full and give them lots of water I don't want any complaining! (send)
Moses; Feed them? (reply)
God; Look in the back of the bus (send)
Moses; You are something else! You've given us so much already it should last until I get back thank you! LY (reply)
God; Now Go! TTYL NRN (send)

Very clever; very clever indeed! It never ceases to amaze what someone will come up with and so far, this week, you win the prize for me. The only negative I would place on your entry is that it is not double-spaced. It is so much easier to read when it is. Other than that, I think you really went "out of the box" and this is truly an excellent example of current affairs as seen through texting.
