That being said, it means it’s very important to have already made our decision on whether we are spending our eternity with God or without Him.
In the current day and age we live in, what we hear about our country and overseas, we cannot help but see the turmoil that the world is in. With the major crisis in finances, many are living in poverty, as this is being written, many more will become hungry or homeless, and this is right here in our United States also. Let’s talk about our job situations, the rising unemployment rates. These problems plus many more are making a big impact in our Nation, but there doesn’t seem to be any answers, no solutions to anyone of these areas, just global confusion.
If we could stop and study what God has to say about this in the Bible, the most up to date book ever written, we would find the answers. Many of us choose not to read it, not to search out the answers in this amazing book. A book without a blemish, surely this can tell us what we need to know.
For many of us we can see the day and the hour we are living in, and how close the coming of our Lord and Savior really is, if we study current affairs, we must make people knowledgeable about the world’s condition today, we need to stay current, pray without ceasing that many will come to Him before the last minute has come and it’s too late. There is an uprising, unrest for our countries; no one seems to have answers. The unsaved people just want more of their desires, and to be fully satisfied at all costs.
Matthew 24:37, 38, 39 - but as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the son of Man be.
As I sat here writing this, in my heart I know the current state of our world, but I wish that we could all come together to pray to help encouraged the unsaved people to look up, to ask Jesus to forgive them of their ungodly ways, to want more in their life, instead of the abounding sin they are living with. Our prayers should be that they would desire to live with our Creator.
Believe it or not, there are two forces in this world right now, battling for our souls. So how can anyone say they are in charge of their future? It’s one or the other.
Otherwise, people who say this is life, and what we have now is it, paints a horrible picture of the reason of life, it makes no sense, it makes our lives appear as not being worth much, At least in God’s eyes we are. How could they not believe in the Trinity? God the father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. To me, how they perceive this world, makes no sense, there is so much more to life, if we would only trust in Him.
We have today here, living in the current affairs of the world but what we have waiting for us is eternity, it surpasses all understanding for many, unless you truly believe in it all. Believe it or not, it’s your call, but by making the wrong choice, only you will suffer, not just for today, but your lost will be permanent and what you end up with is yours today, tomorrow and forever…
