Actually, I don’t believe I’m unlike you, except for the skin color change, of course. Not because you don’t try; you either have tanning beds or fade creams, depending on what skin you already have. You are different from me in that you also try to blend with each other as well as what you are holding onto. Attempting to blend in, you dress with conformity, you spot yourselves up with tattoos, punch holes in your flesh to attach baubles, and you dye and style your hair. To enhance your blending act, you surround yourselves with trinkets that match what is popular. Different methods, but we share the same personality trait. I’m protected from predators by my skills, but your efforts make you the target of profiteers.
Looking at you from a distance, I can see destructive behaviors among humankind, and I’m concerned. Some of you don’t seem to be very particular who you emulate. When you live in poor environs, rather than strive to reposition yourself, you’ll stay because it’s easier. Then you’ll waste what resources you have so that you can meet the standards of the population around you. Attaching yourself to the criminal element, in a lop-sided effort to improve your position, gets you upside down on the wrong side of the law.
Your language, dialect, slang, and actions reflect your neighborhood just like my skin reflects mine, and just like me, what you think you are, you are. In my opinion, you’d be much prettier if you would choose companions with prettier characters. You won’t find me sitting on something a hawk eats.
Trying to improve your thinking by education hasn’t helped you; you’ve gathered yourselves teachers who think like the pack of wolves who taught them, and they’ve spread corruption through the whole caboodle, intending to make you all think alike. Good thinking does not mean that you think like your teachers. If you are taught properly, you will hear the information your teachers communicate and think on your own. You have to prove the information before you believe it; because your coloration will develop with your new information, just as mine does. Taking in faulty data could leave you out on a very thin limb, frightfully exposed.
Exactly as it is for me, changing what you are is as simple as seeing and thinking like what you want to be. You can be transformed by the renewing of your mind; by thinking in a new way. As you absorb proven, scriptural information, and think with the mind of Christ, you will conform to him.
Perhaps if I perched upon an open Bible, the holy scriptures could be read on me. In the same way, if you establish yourself in the scriptures and sit there day and night, thinking like them, conceivably, they could be read on you and most certainly you would be formed into the image of Jesus as you behold him. That’s the likeness all creation is waiting, with bated breath, to see, and that’s why I wanted to speak to you; thanks for listening.”

I really enjoyed this and I generally don't get excited about non-realistic pieces (ie: talking animals). But you did such a good job that I thoroughly enjoyed this, even though it was told from the point of a reptile!
Excellent!
