Topic: Write in the ADVENTURE genre (05/24/07)
Last week my family and I took a very exciting trip to the zoo. I must say I am pleased with those hunters for doing such a wonderful job in terms of going into the wild life to capture this wild beast.

What I can’t understand is that how is it that the crocodiles and the alligators look a lot like each other. I was amazed to see the workers playing with the animals I too tried to touch a bird but a monkey jumped on my back I was so devastated and I jumped all over and took my clothes off luckily I had worn an inside blouse.

I think we need to have all types of animals in our zoos. Keep up the good work employees of the zoo. As visitors we do appreciate the way you make the zoo and health and clean environment.

This is very interesting. It does need to be a little longer, so more can be said here. But this is a good beginning.

There's so much that could be expanded here--a paragraph for each animal, and the bit with your blouse could almost be a story all by itself! I'd encourage you to branch out and to really stretch your writing muscles.

I would love to hear more about the monkey jumping on the back, etc. With a lot more details it could be a funny adventure story. Also, watch out for run-on sentences. Fun idea!

This is fun, submit it to Readers Digest, but as an Action Genre it would probably be better if it was longer. Action can be fiction.
