You hand picked me from a broken yesterday.
A masterpiece in mind, you reworked me without delay.
I bear the marks of the Potter’s hand.
Surrendering to your will every step of the way.
A work in progress; a vessel to be someday.
Working your fingers through my life as I pray.
I bear the marks of the Potter’s hand.
Making, reforming and changing this piece of clay.
Molded by the hands of the Artist, day by day.
Your awesome creative power a splendorous display.
I bear the marks of the Potter’s hand.
Centred on the wheel of Grace I will stay.
Shaped, to be filled with your Glory one day.
As I yield my life into your hands like clay.
I bear the marks of the Potter’s hand.
From the circle of your palms I am taken away.
In a furnace fire I was placed that day.
In becoming a vessel a high price to pay.
I bear the marks of the Potter’s hand.
Because you never give up and you never sway.
A piece of clay yesterday; a useful vessel today.
A partnership between the Potter and His clay.
I bear the marks of the Potter’s hand.
