I have loved writing since I could hold a pencil in my hand. I used to write pages and pages of my name because I didn't know any other words to write. I wrote my first two novels when I was in high school. My senior English teacher read them and compared them "The Outsiders" which was a HUGE compliment to me at the time because I loved that book! At the time I was an atheist and had no interest in God. One year after I graduated I met the true loving and living God. For some reason, I lost all interest in writing books and began to write songs which no one liked. After three years I returned to Norman, OK to be closer to my family. Shortly after that, I was sitting in a concert when I heard God speak to me and tell me that I would write a book about my life. My love for writing returned and I wrote letters of encouragement to friends and whatever else I could write. I have no children which was heartbreaking for me, but life goes on. I have loved my brother's children as if they were my own and I love their children too! They are my heart. So is my dad who lives with me. My mom unfortunately has dementia and we had to place her in a nursing home when she began falling and couldn't remember how to get up. Neither my dad nor I could lift her.
