I enjoy writing to uplift and motivate readers, to encourage deeper thinking, and to bring out the best in others. My interests include exploring and researching Christianity and Religion, anything History, the Military, Political and Constitutional Issues, and Education.
I believe in being a lifelong learner and passing on my knowledge and experience to others. I hold a Ph.D. in Literacy Studies from Middle Tennessee State University and a Masters of Art in Christian studies from Lipscomb University.
For 21 years, I taught in a public middle school including teaching Special Education and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). Additionally, I spent 20 years as an Army Reservist with 2 active duty tours overseas.
I have a strong religious background that guides my decisions and actions. Because of what the Lord has done for me I am compelled to help others in every way possible and to encourage others to follow the path of Christ in how He treated people.
