This year you're not here to share at this time,
we miss you so much,
we all do.
Thanksgiving's for family for praise and for cheer,
but it's not the same without you.
Each one of us lives with a place in our hearts ,
that you are not here to fill.
We can't hear you laugh,
and we don't hear you sing,
and your place at the table is still.
But inside our hearts and deep in our souls,
the memories stay to warm us.
When sometimes we feel cold and alone and afraid,
our thoughts that at times may have torn us...
Bring comfort and peace
and remembrance of love that was special for each one, it's true.
We each have a gift unique to ourselves,
Our very own memories of you.
