Once so clear,
Now dissolved behind the blur of tears.
Once a beauty,
A picture of his faithfulness,
Now it seemed broken,
Only shattered remains.
I can’t see you,
I should be trusting in you,
Living by faith,
But I can’t,
I can’t see you,
Once again only shattered remains.
I can’t do it any longer,
I am tired of myself,
I walk away,
And come back and back again,
I wish there was another way.
I feel like giving up,
Running from myself,
But there is nowhere to go,
You are my only hope.
I feel alone,
I can’t find you,
It should have led to trust,
But instead,
I have moved further away.
I cry out to you,
But I feel so hopeless,
Broken inside,
How can I expect you to take me once again,
To create anew my shattered remains.
I am falling,
I don’t know where to turn,
I can’t find you.
