Only a child,
Once able to come with so much more,
Yet now,
Lost,
Alone.
Unable to move,
Fear,
Hopelessness,
Unbelief,
Yet all that remained,
Trust.
Stand Firm,
Hope,
Trust in Him,
Do not be afraid.
Unable to offer more,
Filled with doubt,
Unbelief,
Unable to continue,
Only a child.
Yet,
What is faith,
Trusting when we can see,
Or,
Something more.
Faith,
Like a child,
Hopeless,
Nothing to offer,
Trust,
Stand firm in him.
Through the darkness,
I will trust you,
Though I cannot see,
My hope is in you.
Faithful one,
I no longer know,
How to come to you,
Yet,
Where else would I go,
You alone are truth,
You alone are faithful,
You alone have the words of life.
So once more,
I reach out to you,
Only a child,
Trusting in you alone.
