When circumstances show the opposite of what you want to see, a table is set for faith to kick in. There are always so many reasons why we can complain and speak forth what we see and feel, but it takes real faith to speak forth the truth instead of the facts facing us on a daily basis.
Many will say it will be a life of living in denial, but I take a stance today to disagree. You are not denying the facts, you just choose to prophecy life over your future. When you are stuck and instead of talking about your sickness you choose to declare, “By Jesus stripes I am healed” (Isaiah 53:5), that does not mean you are living in denial, you merely choose to speak life. When your financial situation seems bleak, declare “My God shall supply all my needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19). When things are not working out and it feels as if everything is working against you, take faith and declare that “All things work to my good because God loves me and He is in control and He knows what He is doing even when I do not.” (Romans 8:28)
Choose every day to believe that things will work out for your good. Live in a constant awareness of God’s grace that surrounds you as with a shield (Psalms 5:12). When the God of the universe favours you, how can any negativity stands against you. It is bound to bow before God even if it does not want to, it will still have to.
Today, and for every day from here, as far as I can, I will aim to say “All is well”, in all circumstances, no matter how dark or bleak it may seem, “All is well”. It will not always be easy, but by God’s grace I will be able to stand. He will help me not to focus on the facts, but to look for His truth in every situation and to declare the truth that “All is well”.
Storms of life might rise against me, dark valleys may appear across my path, but I will stand in “All is well”. Sickness and disease may come knocking at my door, but I will say, “All is well”. It does not matter how dark the night becomes, my God never leaves my side so “All is well”. Danger may tease me from a distance but my words “All is well” will keep it at a distance because no harm can come through the blood of my Jesus.
Save me Lord from myself. Keep my mind on You because there I will find perfect peace. Let me be less of me and my own desires and let me see You in everything I do and in everything I take on today. By Your grace I can do all things because Your strength operates through me. Guide me Lord in Your freedom, peace and strength.
Lord, You love me so all is well. You are with me, so all is well. You have good plans for me, so all is well. No harm will come to me in Jesus, so all is well. My body might be weak, but Jesus took all my sins, so all is well.
Thank you Lord, because in You all is well.
