As people were created so were there lives. Throughout our lives we make choices as to the way we will choose to walk and believe. But the greatest understanding, is that living and walking in the light are two different things. At the fall of man in the garden of Eden, lives lost there ability to walking in the light. Then when Jesus Christ died on the cross, the veil was ripped. At this point, Jesus made a way for His life(light), to be walked on this earth. While we know and understand, His love is greater than anything, it was His love for life that pushed Him forward. Always looking and knowing through the eyes of thankfulness, He could trust Him. His Words were, "Not thy will, but thine." You see our selfishness in life draws us to the easy, the well beaten path- the known. When our insecurities lead, we began to walk in what we believe we know, when honestly, this is when everything we believe begins to fall apart. It is when we trust in ourselves, self life becomes so prevalent the ways of life feel like such a burden. Not only a life of burdens, but we actually began to fell like a burden to ourselves. Our if only's become so prevalent, so pronounced, that they lead our eye's blindly back into yesterday. As we drudge these things up, we feel the emotions boiling over, captivating us. These feelings and emotions have the ability to change our lives, because unfortunately we trust them. Yes, sad but true- we have become a people who live and trust within our feelings, rather than the Words of Jesus. When situations become pronounced, we have to deal with them. Its is always easier to believe the negative and bad... Why? Our flesh is drawn to what pleases it, and temporary highs make us feel satisfied. Usually we get the high, then the lows become worse and worse after each indiscretions. Why, the more sin becomes pronounced, the further the enemy is able to push us into a hole with no light. You see, sin captivates us and our minds, while our heart is fighting to love Him. What happens when Truth and flesh is conflicting within a human, highs and lows create a roller coaster of life. This is when our conscience begins to convict us, as we are being convicted- yet walking in sin, darkness begins to overshadow the good fighting within us. When walking in light becomes so burdensome, we believe walking for Jesus is to hard, when in reality all we've been doing is walking in ourselves.
