What Are Friends For?

What are friends for?
What are friends for?
For giggling and snickering,
And sometimes bickering.

For calling and mailing,
Singing and sailing.
For laughing and teasing,
Each other pleasing.

For birthday remembering,
Sometimes surrendering.
For secrets holding,
But sometimes scolding.

For praying and crying,
Not giving up trying.
For silently waiting,
Opinions debating.

For constant listening,
When tears are glistening.
For patient understanding,
Never demanding

For hugs and cheers,
And wiping the tears.
Forever more
Is what friends are for.

This is lovely Yvonne..some great rhyming schemes, and a careful balance between the ease and the difficulties invoved in true friendship..Thanks too for critiqueing on my Pine Cone article- I have learnt something about Maine.
