“When I rose in the morning to nurse my son, behold, he was dead; but when I looked at him carefully in the morning, behold, he was not my son, whom I had borne.” 1 Kings 3:21 NASB
We are often blinded in the night and we need the light to help us find our way. The night is often times when we are going through something that is difficult to understand or figure out. When things look terrible in the night, we don’t need to draw conclusions or throw in the towel. We need to wait for the morning and examine the situation again. As Christians, our morning is going into the presence of the Lord who is our source of light and examining our situation based on His truth. We do this by seeking out what the word of God is saying concerning the situation.
Because I can guarantee that what your saw in the night is not what it really is. Imagine if the woman just gave up after finding out that “her son” had died? What if she didn’t examine it well or didn’t seek for justice?
She went all the way through and so should we. After finding out what the word of God says concerning your situation, go before the Judge, tell Him your case and what His word says concerning it. And don’t give up based on the false witnesses of the enemy in an effort to proof to you that you are wrong. Keep speaking to Him because the Judge is wise and righteous. He will give you justice and you will leave with what is rightfully yours. But it will all start with understanding the word of God concerning your situation and holding on to it.
