As the name goes, a Christ centered life is the life where Christ is the centre, or has the prime importance.
There’s nothing more well for anyone than a Christ centered life.
What actually is this “Christian centered life?” and “How can we live it”
Paul, the great servant of the Lord proudly declares in Philippian’s 1:21
“For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.”
Thus this ‘Christ centered life’ involves life and death.
It is nothing more than ‘Christ’s life in me and the end of self.’
The voice of one calling in the wilderness, 'Make straight the way for the Lord.'", John the Baptist through John 3:30 spoke this wonderful truth for all of us to follow..
“He must increase, but I must decrease.”
Yes! Christ must increase in our life and our own self and fleshly desires should decrease to such an extent that we find our will merged to the will of God and all we ever desire in life is nothing more Christ Himself.
With the new life in Christ, all that we are should join together for only one purpose and goal and that is to ‘glorify God in everything we do’.
How can we more live like Christ and for Christ?
Again, Paul says in Galatians 2:20
“I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”
Often the things that hinder our walk with God is nothing but our worldly entanglements and desires, the desires of the flesh which prevails over our spiritual desires.
We need to overcome these temptations and let the will of God prevail in our life and this will only happen when we let Christ be the King of our life and let Him govern every of our thoughts and actions.
Where will the fulfillment of our own will and desires reach us?
Do we not see our present world? All the chaos and fighting’s? All the killings and looting?
Is this not the fulfillment of the evil ambitions and desires of humanity?
But when we start to live a ‘Christ Centered life’, we will think and do as Christ does.
We will desire peace and harmony, we will seek the wellbeing and welfare of all and we will love others with the unconditional love with which God has loved us.
Is Christ centered life a ‘good to have’ life or is it a ‘must have’ life? The answer is very simple, we should live a ‘Christ centered life’, for that is God’s will for us and the best we can ever have.
God Bless
