Don't open the door to despondency,
Don't lift the latch to despair.
The peace of your heart is dependent on you,
Let nothing disturb God's peace there.

Both worries and fears demand entrance,
God's peace is your refuge from harm,
Secure in the knowledge that He's in control
The negative need not alarm.

Though doubt and uncertainty knock on your door,
The source of your peace lies within.
New strength and encouragement He will provide
Alone in the stillness with Him.

If you died today, are you absolutely certain that you would go to heaven? You can be! TRUST JESUS NOW

Thank you Carol for another great poem. It was just what I needed to read this morning!

You described the Peace of our LORD, very well. I especially like poems that rhyme. Good job, and I look forward to reading more of your work. Your words bought Glory to our LORD
