Held In His Arms

He said He truly loved me,
He said it grieved Him so
When I could not accept His love
Or His forgiveness know.

He said that He would hold me
So tightly to His breast,
That nothing in this whole wide world
Could from Him me arrest.

So when events confuse me,
And worries start to mount,
I rest in His protecting arms,
All fear will I discount.

"He tends his flock like a shepherd; He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; he gently leads those that have young." Isaiah 40:11 (New International Version)
