Steve Skelley is a Contemporary Christian Singer, Songwriter and an Ordained Minister.
He's currently employed as the Director of Outreach Ministries, Program Ministries, and Youth Ministries at a church on Florida's Atlantic coast where he leads Contemporary, Blended, and Rock Worship services.
His Contemporary Christian Music project "I saw His Face" received national and international radio air play on many different radio formats.
His songs "Run to You", "Peace" and "Psalm 147:11" all made the Top 20
Charts of the New Christian Music Network of the most requested NCMN
songs worldwide. All three were in the Top 10 at the same time.
His independent music video "Closer Every Day" repeatedly aired on TV
in a number of states.
He's ministered in outreach concerts for over 20 years including concerts
with Grammy winner Geoff Moore, Out of Eden, Freddie Colloca, and the Bellamy Brothers.
He's served various churches and denominations as a Youth Ministries
Director, Director of Worship Ministries, Outreach and Program Ministries Director, Contemporary Worship Minister, Youth Pastor, Young Adult Pastor,Worship Leader, Assistant Worship Leader, Deacon, Licensed Minister,School Chapel Service Minister, and Children's Church Co-Director with his wife Joyce Ann.
He's performed Prison Ministry for over 8 years in two high and maximum
security facilities for teens.
He acts as a consultant for churches interested in Contemporary Worship services.
He has organized and led successful Contemporary Worship / Outreach services at numerous churches in multiple states.
He plays rockin' acoustic guitar and performs powerful and emotional lead vocals which have been compared to Phil Collins, Rich Mullins, and Garth Brooks.
He writes a weekly inspirational newspaper column called the Faith Forum for the Marco
Island Sun Times newspaper.
